Haenyeo

On Jeju Island, an elderly woman fights to hold on to a century-old tradition. The film follows an incredible elderly Haenyeo, or sea women, who despite her age, dives 50 feet down on a single breath to catch octopus from the ocean floor. It's a Korean tradition which has lasted centuries and as one of the last few remaining Haenyeo, she says she will keep diving until her body gives up.
