Xbox launch ‘FIELD TRIPS’ - a first-of-its-kind learning module that reframes video games as educational tools. The immersive experience takes the shape of audio podcasts that children listen to whilst gaming. Each podcast takes kids on a bespoke learning journey into games to help foster important soft skills like problem solving, team building and communication, whilst also relaying curriculum-based learning that relates to the theme of the game. For instance, discovering the history of piracy and tidal formations whilst playing the pirate adventure game, Sea of Thieves.
